WEEKEND #1: GO SKATE DAY
GO SKATE DAY 6.21
Making our mark in Charlotte, we launched Go Skate Day this year with the exciting opening of APB Skatepark at The Collective on Tuckaseegee. This dynamic space is designed to foster community and inclusivity, bringing together local entrepreneurs alongside The Whitaker Group’s iconic brands.
Throughout the weekend, locals enjoyed delicious bites from neighborhood favorites like Don's Jamaican Kitchen, Lulu's Hotdog Stand, Taqueria Chonita, and more. The event was filled with thrilling open skate sessions and best trick competitions, allowing winners to showcase their skills and walk away with custom Queen City skateboards, Nike SB swag, and exclusive APB decks and apparel.

All ages were welcome as kids took to the ramps, showcasing their skills and enthusiasm for the sport!
WOMEN & GIRLS SKATE
Women and girls of all levels joined in, leaving their mark on the park.

APB MUSIC: THE LIVE EXPERIENCE
Our monthly #APBMusic program was brought to life with electrifying performances from Reuben Vincent, Cyanca, Ahmir, Tymain Robbins, Caponedagod, EDub, and Moneyforwater. Watch the full performances here.
VENDOR MARKET & LIVE SOUNDS
The APB Block Party turned Charlotte's west side into a lively celebration of community and live music. Attendees grooved to beats by Dammit Wesley, DJ Fannie Mae, Seebird Go, CJ the Gifted, and Erinn Alexx while exploring our local vendor market, which featured handmade home goods, jewelry, natural skincare, and herbal blends.
OPEN SKATE SESSIONS
No matter the skill level, we saw skaters of all ages hitting the ramps—whether on quads or boards. The park buzzed with energy as everyone showcased their passion for skating.
