Adidas Originals teams up with boutique agency The Whitaker Grp to present an NMD Racer inspired by the racing circuit, luxury vehicles and the chase for something special. The ethos and main goal of The Whitaker Car Club is providing a platform for a diverse culture of car lovers; from tuners, sports cars, to Formula 1 racing enthusiasts.

For this version of the NMD Racer, the upper features a full Primeknit construction with embroidered “motion blur” details. A sock-fit collar provides that perfect fit while the lacing system provides the perfect structure to the design.

 The midsole blends Boost with EVA inserts at the heel. The insole of the sneaker, which features a checkerboard motif, stems back to race culture as well as the ethos of The Whitaker Car Club.

The complimenting visual for the NMD Racer takes place in four distinct cities with flagship locations of Whitaker Grp boutiques; Social Status (Charlotte, NC), APB Store (Greenville, SC), A Ma Maniere (Atlanta, GA), and Prosper (Jersey City, NJ). Each boutique location serves a different purpose but has one mission to represent hard work, diversity, and unity.

Releasing on June 8^th 2018 at all APB locations in the white colorway, the result is a culturally-inspired release that unites sneaker and car culture.
