We have opened our inaugural brick-and-mortar store in Columbia, SC. Founded by James Whitner who also created streetwear retailer “Social Status” and “A Ma Maniére,” A.P.B. is an extension and evolution of the retail presence that these stores established. A.P.B. aims to fill a void within the Columbia retail landscape by offering a fashionable shopping experience that caters to the college level demographic with a focus on fashion-forward designers, rare sneakers and a more progressive brands list.
The store provides an elevated look, selective apparel and rare footwear releases at an affordable price point. Featuring brands such as Nike, adidas Originals, Air Jordan, 10 Deep, Stamp'd LA, Billionaire Boys Club and PRPS, the boutique will also provide rare footwear from the vault and re-release in demand sneakers such as the Yeezy’s, Air Jordan 1 Retro Fragment’s, Air Jordan 2 Retro Just Don’s and Air Jordan 11’s. The shop promotes a decidedly minimalist aesthetic throughout every element as the understated black on black logo is used for our branding. The fixtures and tables are designed from seamless glass that each reside atop a custom wood base and the custom clothing racks and shoe displays provide for an easy shopping experience. Merchandising and storytelling within the shop as the space can also be used for brand events, special popshops, trunk shows and more.
Situated within the bustling district of Historic Downtown, A.P.B. makes its home amongst many of the city’s most trafficked restaurants and coffee shops as well as a variety of multifunctional design studios, interior design stores and a range of other creatively focused concepts.
