#APBMusic: JUHOVAH

Hailing from Florence, SC, Juhovah stands as a musical visionary, blending the money-making culture and laid-back vibes of his hometown into his sound. Influenced by legends like 50 Cent and Ja Rule, Juhovah's journey began at 16 when he recorded his first track, finding confidence in his unique style.

With a passion for R&B and a drive to dominate the industry, Juhovah's creative process starts with immersive production, guiding his lyrical storytelling to captivate audiences.

HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN YOU MADE YOUR FIRST SONG, AND WHEN DID YOU FEEL CONFIDENT ENOUGH TO BEGIN TO SHARE YOUR MUSIC?

JUHOVAH: I was about 12 when I made my first song. It wasn't until around 16 when I recorded my first official track in the studio, but I didn't even like hearing my music out loud around other people at that time. It took me a few years to become confident.

WHAT MOMENT OR ARTIST INSPIRED YOU TO DIVE INTO THE WORLD OF MUSIC?

J: Hearing "21 Questions" by 50 Cent and every Ja Rule ballad with the women he collaborated with.

HOW DO YOU PERSONALLY DEFINE SUCCESS, AND WHAT MILESTONES OR ACHIEVEMENTS MARK SUCCESS FOR YOU?

J: Success to me means achieving anything I want. I feel successful when I reach those marks. Being a good dad, a provider, and achieving my goals, as well as being a great partner, whether in business or intimately, mark success for me.

WHAT’S YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS LIKE?

J: I always start with the production. Production takes me on a trip before I add words to anything. I need that feeling; I need it to take me to a place so I can recreate that scene for everyone and paint it lyrically.

HOW DO YOU DESCRIBE YOUR MUSIC?

J: My music is mood music. I make music based on my mood so that when it's played, you can choose a song for the specific mood you're in.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE NEXT 5-10 YEARS?

J: On top of the game, whether behind the scenes or in front. As an artist, writer, A&R, or creative director, I plan to have my hands in all aspects of the music industry.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR YOU?

J: I'm dropping an album on March 29th, exclusively on a platform called Even. The project is entitled "Juvie."
