The First Capsule is Now Available at APB Boutiques
APB has always been focused on a hyperlocal connection with the communities that have welcomed us across North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and beyond. The APB “For Locals” capsule is a special thank you to our beloved people, places and spaces that have become an integral part of who we are.
The 19-piece capsule features illustration-style graphics with cues to different locations, recognizable to our community members: a sport nod to the teams present in South Carolina with crimson & red, Florida with green & purple, the list goes on. This capsule also features efforts from previous COLOR CODE members making the hats come to life with hand-sewn embroidery work, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
Every piece of the capsule was given the utmost attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality, production, and our eco-footprint. 75% of the capsule’s production is powered by solar energy, while 50% of the cotton is made from recycled components sourced from Europe and the United States. Every garment’s production waste, instead of ending up in landfills, is broken down into yarn to be recycled and reused in other production forms. In thinking about serving and representing our people and cities, we must commit to enriching their experiences while also protecting the environment they cherish and care for.
